The latest poster highlighting Scarlett Johansson's "Ghost in the Shell" character sees the IMAX logo shine brightly behind Major as she knocks out her opponent. It's a simple, yet striking poster with nothing to distract in the background, allowing Johansson's special ops, human-cyborg hybrid to be the selling point of the film.

This is the latest poster released by Paramount Pictures to promote the feature to feature some truly striking imagery. Recently, the studio revealed a pair of posters with one focusing on Major in her thermoptic suit, and the other focusing on a robotic geisha assassin, as showcased in the trailer for the film. Earlier this week, a series of motion posters made their debut online, offering looks at even more of the film's cast.

"Ghost in the Shell" focuses on Johansson's Major who goes after a cyberterrorist, with the help of her Section 9 team, who is hijacking ghosts.

The film, which was directed by "Snow White and the Hunstman" director Rupert Sanders, stars Scarlett Johansson as Major, and is based on the best-selling magna of the same name. Joining Johansson in the film are Daisuke Aramaki, Juliette Binoche, Michael Pitt, Pilou Asbæk, and Kaori Momoi. "Ghost in the Shell" will hit theaters on March 31.
