After making a name for himself with his outrageous comedy, Jordan Peele has become just as synonymous with science fiction and horror. This is manifesting once again in his upcoming movie Nope, though it isn't the director's first foray into the realm of the unnerving. Beforehand, he also created Get Out and Us, the former of which was critically acclaimed when it first hit theaters.

Peele's latest film is about to find its way onto the big screen, but those venturing to see it might want to revisit Peele's other material first. Whether they've seen the movies beforehand or are just now tuning in to see what all the fuss is about, viewers will definitely want to stream Get Out and Us before watching Nope. Here's a look at where they can do so, as well as what the newest, and perhaps best, Peele flick is all about.

How to Watch Jordan Peele's Get Out and Us

Starring Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams, LaKeith Stanfield, Bradley Whitford and Catherine Keener, Get Out was released in 2017 to rave reviews. Telling the story of a Black man who comes to an estate to meet his white girlfriend's parents, the film pulls back a seemingly benign veneer to reveal a much more sinister reality. It was followed up by Peele's next movie, the 2019 horror film Us. Starring Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, Shahadi Wright Joseph and Evan Alex, the movie featured a Black middle-class family being besieged by a group of harrowing lookalikes.

Despite their popularity, neither movie is available on any major streaming platform as part of its content. At the same time, they can be purchased or rented to stream through Amazon Prime Video, as well as Apple TV, Youtube and Google Play. Given that they've been out for a while, it's rather odd that they're this hard to come by, so to speak, but it seems that Nope will, in a way, follow the same path.

When Does Jordan Peele's Nope Release?

Jordan Peele's creepy new movie Nope features a pair of rancher siblings investigating mysterious falling objects, as well as an unidentified flying one, after their father's death. Heavily inspired by the concept of the commercialization of spectacle, the movie promises to be such a spectacle that it demands the biggest screen possible. Reuniting David Kaluuya with Peele, the cast is also made up of Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun and Brandon Perea. The movie is already getting very good reviews, but those hoping to stream it at home anytime soon might be out of luck.

Nope hits theaters nationwide on July 22nd, having already premiered earlier at the TCL Chinese Theatre. Strangely enough, unlike many recent movies, this release date is not one of many, as Nope was never postponed. In fact, the July 22nd release was announced two years ago, with Universal going ahead and reserving the date. The movie will only be in theaters for the first 45 days of its release, afterward becoming available to purchase through video-on-demand and for streaming likely through Peacock Premium. Before watching it, however, it's probably best to watch Jordan Peele's other movies, even if this one isn't a sequel.
