It's well known that much in the story can change during the shooting of a blockbuster film, and Marvel Studios have been known for playing their scenes fast and loose during production. But now a new set of YouTube videos is showing off just how close and how far away certain scenes from "Captain America: The Winter Solider."

Recently, Marvel animatics artist James Rothwell has been rolling out moving storyboards he made with artists Philip Keller and Alex Hillkurtz for the film on his Video4All YouTube channel. The partially scored and voiced rough drafts show a different side to many memorable scenes from the Russo Brothers film.

Perhaps the most drastically different sequence is Cap and Black Widow's investigation of Camp Lehigh, which reveals a different fate for the computerized villain Arnim Zola than what made it to the screen.

Other slightly different takes include action sequences like Nick Fury's S.H.I.E.L.D. escape:

Or Cap's elevator battle:

Or a more tense take on Steve and Natasha's trip to the Apple Store:

Not to mention this first tease of the Winter Soldier himself inspired by the art of Steve Epting:
