It turns out "Star Wars" creator George Lucas is a big fan of Marvel Comics' new "Han Solo" series by writer Marjorie Liu and artist Mark Brooks.

Brooks wrote in a post to Facebook, "Got an e-mail last night from Lucasfilm saying that George Lucas would like to purchase every original page from Han Solo #1 and #2. Surreal is an understatement."

Obviously, since Lucas wants the original art -- which would likely be sold for thousands of dollars -- he must enjoy "Han Solo." Or, at least, he really likes the art.

The next issue in the series, "Han Solo" #3, hits stands on August 3.
