President & Chief Creative Officer of DC Entertainment Geoff Johns is already at work on the script for Wonder Woman 2, the sequel to the box office smash hit directed by Patty Jenkins.

In an interview with Yahoo! Movies ahead of his appearance at Comic-Con International in San Diego's Warner Bros. Films panel, Johns told the site, “I’m working right now on the Wonder Woman 2 script...I just started.” Without being specific, Johns reportedly indicated he's "huddled with Jenkins to hash out some story points."

Despite some reports indicating otherwise, Jenkins has confirmed she's yet to officially sign on to direct the sequel; she is currently in talks for the film and it seems very likely that she will return. The rest of the production team is also expected to stay on board for the sequel.
