Geof Darrow's Shaolin Cowboy Gets A Badass New Figure

The Shaolin Cowboy, a creation of veteran indie comics creator Geof Darrow, is getting immortalized as an action figure courtesy of 3A Toys.

3A Toys is releasing a figure based on the title character from Geof Darrow's hit indie comics series The Shaolin Cowboy. Available now for $220 USD, the 1/6-scale, hyper-detailed figure stands 12 inches tall with 30 points of articulation. Boasting finely tailored fabric clothing, including a faux leather arm bracer, kerchief, and denim pants, the figure comes with multiple accessories: two chainsaws, one bow staff, one sword and sheath, a colt 45 pistol, two belts and two interchangeable hands.

Renowned for his hyper-detailed art and over-the-top action sequences, Darrow is an artist with an very distinctive style and approach to comics. Nowhere is this more evident than in his own series The Shaolin Cowboy, which chronicles the often-surreal adventures of a taciturn martial-artist monk with a price on his head. Darrow and colorist Dave Stewart recently brought back the creation for The Shaolin Cowboy: Who’ll Stop the Reign?, a miniseries from Dark Horse Comics.
