Many have interacted with each other in the game, whether because of the main story or because they were part of an event. Although Zhongli and Venti have yet to interact in the game, they are familiar with each other. Along with Raiden Shogun, they're the last two remaining of the original seven Archons.
Based on their voice lines, it seems like they have a love-hate relationship. Zhongli once said that he could tell when Venti visited Liyue because it reeks of wine right after. In Venti's voice line, he calls Zhongli an old blockhead but still asks the Traveler to deliver him an old relic he found under Windrise.
9 Thoma & Ayaka Have A Cute Dynamic
Thoma is the housekeeper for the Kamisato Clan. He's pretty close with both Ayaka and Ayato, but the former stated that he always knows how to cheer her up when she's sad. Thoma said that his top priority is fulfilling Ayaka's wishes. The rest of the Kamisato Clan was against taking Thoma in, but Ayaka fought for him and got her way.
It's clear Thoma is so much more to Ayaka than just a housekeeper. Since they're close friends, if this ship were to become canon, they'd have a cute friends-to-lovers dynamic.
8 Xiao & The Traveler Always Have Each Other's Backs
Whether players ship Xiao with Lumine or Aether, both Travelers have a pretty wholesome dynamic with the vigilant yaksha. They always have each other's backs and have had a few cute interactions throughout the game.
On Xiao's birthday, he sent the Traveler a note saying that he'd find a Crystalfly for them to put in their hair because it would look nice. He also said that the Traveler should just call out his name, and he'd show up whenever they wanted to spend time with him.
7 Albedo & Sucrose Have A Lot In Common
Sucrose is Albedo's alchemy assistant, but it's pretty obvious that their relationship is more than strictly business. They have a lot in common. They're both introverted, reclusive alchemists who are preoccupied with their experiments. Albedo just thinks that talking to other people is burdensome, while Sucrose is insecure about her stutter.
Sucrose holds Albedo in high regard and always does her best to support him. Meanwhile, Albedo says that she's pleasant to work with, but wishes she would drop the honorifics because they're friends and the same age.
6 Fans Think That Chongyun & Xingqiu Could Have A Wholesome Friends-To-Lovers Dynamic
Xingqiu and Chongyun are best friends in the game, but fans think that they have the potential to be something more. Chongyun has repeatedly stated that he looks up to Xingqiu. He said he aspires to replicate his chivalrous spirit and passion for reading. However, Xingqiu also enjoys teasing Chongyun and likes to poke fun at his job as an exorcist, even falsely telling him that he saw an evil spirit.
Meanwhile, Xingqiu stated that he and Chongyun understand each other on a deeper level than most. Xiangling also stated that Chongyun and Xingqiu frequently hang out and eat together at her restaurant.
5 Arataki Itto & Kujou Sara Would Be Relationship Goals
Though they seem nothing alike, Itto and Sara have much more in common than fans initially thought. They both have tragic backstories and had to fend for themselves early on in life.
Sara is a no-nonsense type, but fans know that Itto has a great sense of humor and doesn't take life too seriously. When Sara came to arrest him in the name of the Vision Hunt Decree, Itto responded by flirting with her. The ship isn't one-sided, either. It's implied that Sara finds Itto's antics endearing, even if she doesn't want to admit it.
4 Jean & Diluc Respect Each Other, Despite Their Different Beliefs
Even though Jean works for the Knights of Favonius and Diluc hates them, they still respect each other. Jean said that, though he chose a different path, she trusts that they still share the same goal of protecting Mondstadt.
At the end of Jean's story quest, Diluc is revealed as the main organizer behind Jean's party at Angel's Share. He said that even though he didn't want to sponsor any member of the Knights of Favonius, he appreciates Jean's dedication to protecting the city and acknowledges her hard work.
3 Yae Miko & Raiden Shogun Have Always Loved Each Other
After Raiden Shogun sealed herself away in the Plane of Euthymia, Yae Miko did everything to get her out. She didn't support the Vision Hunt Decree, so when she heard that the Traveler was fighting against it, she asked for their help to try and get through to her.
She recognized that the Shogun was probably very lonely there and wanted to save her before succumbing to a lifetime of isolation. In the meantime, Yae became the maiden of the Grand Narukami Shrine. Yae is the only friend of Raiden's who survived for as long as she did, and much of their lore is intertwined. They've always been close, and it's clear that they've loved each other for a long time.
2 Childe & Lumine Have An Enemies-To-Lovers Dynamic
Childe and Lumine are one of the game's most popular ships. It's also one of the closest to being canon. If they were to become a real couple, they'd have an intriguing enemies-to-lovers dynamic for which fans always fall head over heels.
Currently, they're just sparring buddies, since fighting is Childe's favorite hobby, but they've had some pretty wholesome interactions throughout the game and in the lore. In the Anthology, Childe asked Lumine out on a date and even gave Paimon some Mora so she'd leave them alone. He also told Lumine that she's like the stars in the night sky and says that she never fails to surprise him.
1 Beidou & Ningguang Flirt All The Time
Unlike most citizens of Liyue, Beidou doesn't falter or bite her tongue in front of the revered Tianquan of the Qixing, Ningguang. Though she claims to be annoyed by Beidou's unprofessionalism and gruffness, their constant flirting suggests otherwise.
During the last Lantern Rite festival, Ningguang made a pretty suggestive comment when asked how she persuaded Beidou to help her retrieve what she needed. She stated, "Payment is one aspect of it. But I also compensate her in other ways... Hehe, let's just say it's a little complicated." Later on, during the bartending event, fans and Paimon alike were shocked that Ningguang and Beidou went together to Angel's Share in Mondstadt.
