Will Smith takes on Will Smith in the second trailer for the A-list Hollywood star's latest sci-fi epic, Gemini Man.
In between action-packed footage, Smith's older character breaks down how his younger clone was brought into the world, and why he's hell-bent on killing the older government assassin.
Directed by Ang Lee (Life of Pi) and co-written by David Benioff (Game of Thrones), the film features Smith as Henry Brogan, an older, experienced assassin. However, the contract killer suddenly finds himself in the crosshairs of a younger hitman who can seemingly predict his every move, and Brogan quickly discovers it's a younger incarnation of himself, trained by a mysterious character played by Clive Owen.
Relentlessly hunted by a version of himself in peak physical condition and without the scars, both physically and mentally, that haunt him, Henry will find that his ultimate enemy may be himself as the action escalates around the world.
Opening in theaters everywhere on October 11, Gemini Man is directed by Ang Lee from a script written by David Benioff, Billy Ray and Darren Lemke. The film stars Will Smith, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Clive Owen and Benedict Wong.
