In a follow-up tweet, NECA also confirmed that including the draped wings and "other larger bonuses" with smaller figures, like Goliath's wings being included with Bronx, was always part of the distribution plan for the figures. This strategy, according to NECA, "helps keep costs and packaging size the same & offers you maximum value." Other upcoming figures, like Lexington and the human figures, will follow this plan as well.

The Bronx figure was revealed as part of NECA Toys' 31 Nights of Fright event, where every night of October the company unveils a new, upcoming figure. Bronx isn't the only Gargoyle figure to be revealed during this event. The first included a full gallery of photos for an upcoming Demona figure, as well as the final packaging photos for the Ultimate Thailog action figure. Both figures will be available in early 2022.

The Ultimate Goliath figure was announced by NECA in March 2021 and will be part of a line of five figures based on characters from the series. The Ultimate Goliath figure retails for $32.99 is now available for purchase. While Goliath comes with expanded wings, fans looking for some variety can purchase the Bronx figure for the draped wings and other accessories.

Gargoyles began as an animated series that ran for three seasons from 1994 to 1997 and followed a species of nocturnal creatures known as gargoyles that turned to stone during the day and protected the city at night. The series focused on the Manhattan Clan, which included their leader Goliath, Brooklyn, Lexington, Broadway and Hudson. A video game adaptation and a spinoff comic series were released in 1995. The show's storyline continued in a comic book series of the same title by Slave Labor Graphics, which was published from 2006 to 2009. On top of that, a board game called Gargoyles: Awakening was recently announced by Ravensburger. The game is available exclusively at Target.

Created by Greg Weisman, all three seasons of Gargoyles are currently available to watch on Disney+.
