Game of Thrones Returns to SDCC with Hall H Presentation

Game of Thrones finale

Game of Thrones has set its sights on a new conquest: Comic-Con International in San Diego.

According to Deadline, the HBO series will return for a Hall H presentation at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. The show hasn't appeared at SDCC since 2017.

The panelists have not yet been finalized, though Jon Snow actor Kit Harington is reportedly a likely attendee. Series creator George R.R. Martin is rumored to attend, but executive producers and showrunners David Benioff and D.B Weiss probably will not.

Game of Thrones brought its eighth and final season to a close last month. As such, the show's Hall H panel will likely be a retrospective on the series. Notably, HBO has several Game of Thrones spinoffs in the works, though direct sequels are not anticipated at this time.

This year at SDCC, Warner Bros. will skip Hall H, despite an amplified presence on the show floor. AMC's The Walking Dead is expected to return as well.

Comic-Con International in San Diego runs Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21. Game of Thrones stars Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen, Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark, Maisie Williams as Arya Stark and Kit Harington as Jon Snow.
