HBO Now

HBO's standalone premium streaming service allows viewers to watch its programming without the need of a cable subscription. The platform lets subscribers stream all programming on the same day and date, especially invaluable for those who can't bear to wait an extra second to get re-immersed in the latest goings-on in Westeros.

The service is $14.99 a month, with a free trial period lasting one week. As a reminder, the subscription automatically renews itself each month unless canceled by the subscriber.

HBO Go

For those who have an HBO cable subscription, their streaming worries have already been solved, even if they're not aware of it. Bundled with every paid subscription for HBO's conventional service is access to HBO Go, intended for those may not have immediate access to their cable television, or prefer viewing on their mobile devices.

As HBO Go is an extension of standard HBO cable subscriptions, those with access to the streaming platform have it at their disposal at no extra charge.

Hulu

For viewers who like to keep all their streaming services and programming under one platform, Hulu does offer an extension allowing viewers to watch HBO Now through cross-platform functionality instead of having to boot up HBO Now separately.

A basic Hulu package is $6.99 a month for streaming with ads, before the HBO extension, while the ad-free subscription is $11.99 a month. The extension can be activated through Hulu's settings for HBO Now's usual price of $14.99 a month. For those with Spotify Premium subscriptions, the combined Spotify and base Hulu package is $12.99 a month, not counting the price of the HBO Now extension. Hulu comes with a 30-day free trial, while the extension has a free seven-day trial like HBO Now.

Amazon

Similar to Hulu, Amazon Instant Video offers a channel through its video streaming service for those with Amazon Prime subscriptions interested in watching HBO Now via cross-platform viewing. Prime Channels are easily activated or canceled.

As with the Hulu extension and HBO Now subscription, the cost for the HBO Now Prime Channel is $14.99 a month with a seven-day free trial on top of the standard subscription costs for Amazon Prime.
