'Game of Thrones' Star Emilia Clarke to Play Sarah Connor in 'Terminator' Reboot

Emilia Clarke will be trading in her dragons for some heavy artillery. According to Deadline, the Game of Thrones actress has signed on to play Sarah Connor in the Terminator reboot helmed by Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor.

Details of the new Terminator film are being kept under wraps, but we do know Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning as the beefy cyborg. Jason Clarke is in talks to play John Connor, and there have been rumors that Dwayne Johnson will join the cast.

Called Terminator, this new film has been described by Paramount, Skydance Productions and Annapurna Pictures as a reboot that will kick off a new trilogy. Reportedly, the story will follow Schwarzenegger's T-800 cyborg from the future coming to the present to protect a younger Sarah Connor, mother of future human resistance leader John Connor.

Terminator is scheduled for a June 26, 2015 release.
