For the entirety of its soon-to-be eight-season run, Game of Thrones has been one of the most buzzed about series on television, with fans theorizing upcoming plot points of the fantasy show.

One of the most speculated elements of the longrunning series was the fate of Jon Snow after being betrayed and ambushed by members of the Night's Watch in the Season 5 finale. While fans debated whether Snow would return after being stabbed repeatedly, HBO CEO Richard Plepler was approached by President Barack Obama during a state dinner and asked about Snow's survival.

"Mr. President, even your security clearance isn’t high enough to give you the answer to that," Plepler recalled in an interview with Variety.

Of course, Snow was resurrected by the end of the Season 6 premiere, ultimately executing his betrayers and taking the throne of Winterfell. However, with the upcoming season ending the dark fantasy series, fans have had plenty of new plot points to theorize before the Season 8 premiere in less than a month.
