As it turns out, Game of Thrones star Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, didn't spoil the series finale for his wife Rose Leslie after all.

In a new interview, Leslie -- who played Jon Snow love interest Ygritte from Season 2 to Season 4 -- set the record straight. Harington spoiled the end of Season 7 for her, but she "genuinely" doesn't know how the show is going to end in Season 8.

“He told me the ending of last season and I remember getting a bit uppity about that," Leslie explained to Entertainment Weekly. "He happened to tell me – and this is a spoiler for anybody who hasn’t seen the last season – he happened to tell me that one of the dragons fall into the ice lake, and then we see the dragon being dragged out of the water and the dragon breathes fire — or ice, I can’t quite remember which one it is, I think it’s fire — onto The Wall, and then, of course, that’s when all the [Army of the Dead] can then cross over."

"So he told me about the dragon and I got rather livid with him, because I said, ‘You weren’t supposed to tell me everything! And that’s a huge piece of information!’ And he’s like, ‘Well, you asked!’ And I was like, ‘I know,'” she added.

The cast and crew of Game of Thrones are contractually obligated to keep plot details a secret, though Harington has occasionally incurred odd circumstances that challenge that: he once offered spoilers to a cop to get out of a speeding ticket.

Returning on HBO Sunday, April 14 for its eighth and final season, Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington as Jon Snow, Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen, Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister.
