'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Announces a "Teaser is Coming"

Waiting for "Game of Thrones" to return to HBO is like waiting for Winter to come. You know it's going to be dangerous, thrilling, and someone might end up dead, but you also can't wait to see what Winter is going to look like in Westeros. The same anticipation and sentiment applies to fans of the show, who eagerly await any new footage, teasers or trailers.

While a full trailer for "Game of Thrones" season six has not been released yet by HBO, the company has been uploading teaser trailers, the first of which featured the burning banners of House Stark, House Lannister, and House Targaryen. HBO also recently shared a full photo gallery of season six promotional images.

In the same vein of wanting to tease fans without giving too much of the new season away, HBO will be launching another teaser tonight just before the premiere of their new show "Vinyl." According to HBO's Game of Thrones Twitter feed, a new teaser for season six is coming at 8:59 p.m. EST.

Check out the teaser announcement below and come back here at 8:59EST/5:59PST to see the new footage:
