The winds of winter are starting to blow again in Westeros, with production of the fifth season of Game of Thrones set to begin shortly. The producers of the hit HBO fantasy have started lining up their directors for the new season, and with one exception, they're all newcomers to the series.

Here's the list of directors for Game of Thrones Season 5, according to Entertainment Weekly:

Episodes 501 and 502: Michael Slovis

Episodes 503 and 504: Mark Mylod

Episodes 505 and 506: Jeremy Podeswa

Episodes 507 and 508: Miguel Sapochnik

Episodes 509 and 510: David Nutter

Of that lineup, only Nutter has experience with Game of Thrones, having directed four previous episodes. Slovis is one of the better-known quantities among the new directors; he was the cinematographer of Breaking Bad.

Writers and showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss won't return as directors, having previously helmed one episode each

Game of Thrones will return next spring.
