A Game of Thrones reunion special has been filmed, with much of the series cast appearing together.

Game of Thrones is slated to premiere in the spring of next year, beginning the eighth and final season of the smash hit fantasy series. There were rumors of a potential reunion special in honor of the show, which HBO would not confirm or deny -- until now.

Entertainment Weekly reports that HBO has officially revealed the existence of the reunion special, which will be hosted by Conan O’Brien. But it also appears that the special will not actually air on HBO. Instead, it will be included as a part of the complete Game of Thrones home video box set as an exclusive bonus feature.

The box set is scheduled to be released sometime in late 2019. The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones is scheduled to premiere sometime in April of 2019.
