WARNING: The following article contains major spoilers for the series finale of Game of Thrones.
A new behind-the-scenes photo from the Game of Thrones series finale showcases a new side of the Stark siblings.
Sophie Turner, who plays new Queen in the North Sansa Stark, posted a set photo on Instagram with the caption, "The pack survived." The photo shows her, Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) passing the time while filming a pivotal scene from the highly-anticipated finale.
The scene in question featured the trio as they served upon the council of Westerosi lords and ladies that convened to elect the new ruler following the death of Daenerys Targaryen. However, despite the stakes of the scene, it seems the actors were all very comfortable, as they indulged in some modern conveniences. Williams rocks a pair of sunglasses to complement her black leather assassins outfit. Turner does some vaping, sure to take the edge off more than a hearty plate of lemon cakes. Finally, Hempstead Wright sites comfortably with his bare legs crossed, providing an answer as to what he elected to wear for all the years the new king of Winterfell was contained to a wheelchair. Balanced on his head is a water bottle, which appeared to be prevalent across the set, even making its way into a shot on the final cut of the episode.
One of the most remarkable things about the tenure of Game of Thrones was watching its child actors grow up, both in front of and behind the camera. If this picture is any indication as to how they spent their last days in Westeros, it seems the Starks and their real-life counterparts ended the show sitting pretty. Or, in Hempstead Wright's case, pantsless.
Game of Thrones stars Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen, Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark, Maisie Williams as Arya Stark and Kit Harington as Jon Snow.
