Game of Thrones has a massive fanbase made up of millions of devoted and active fans. While most don't expect the writers to bend to their every desire, they do hope that they take some of their critiques to heart when producing the show. Unfortunately for them, Game of Thrones creator D.B Weiss no patience for fans' opinions.

Speaking at the Austin Film Festival, Weiss said that they did not take fans reactions into consideration as the show went along. According to the Needle and Pen Twitter account, he did not see the value of examining other people's reactions.

In fact, the team was so insulated that they got upset when they Googled the show and saw the negative reactions of the fanbase.

The comments are surely not going to help David Benioff and D.B Weiss, as fans have already accused them of ruining the material and not understanding the characters. With them openly admitting that they did not take fan opinions and feedback into account, things could end up getting much worse for them.

Game of Thrones stars Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen, Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark, Maisie Williams as Arya Stark and Kit Harington as Jon Snow.
