'Game of Thrones' Actor Hints At Surprise Return To Westeros

As dire as things appeared for Twyin Lannister in last season’s Game of Thrones finale, the actor that plays Westeros’ master manipulator confessed that we haven’t yet seen the last of his character.

While doing promotion for Dracula Untold, Charles Dance revealed to MTV that he'd make an appearance in season five. “I’m not completely missing out on the next series. More than that, I’m not going to say,” teased Dance, avoiding spoilers. The actor laughed and added: “You haven’t seen the last of Tywin Lannister is all I’ll say.”

The speculation surrounding Tywin's return is already mounting, with theories being thrown out that the actor will simply return as a corpse for his funeral, or that the show will possibly break its stance on flashbacks and reveal more of the Lannister patriarch’s backstory.

Game of Thrones' fifth season began filming in July and will premiere in 2015.
