WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for the Game of Thrones series finale, "The Iron Throne".

In addition to playing as the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers is a vocal Game of Thrones fan and even appeared as a Lannister soldier in the penultimate episode of the series in a silent cameo performance.

While clarifying that he believed his character survived Daenerys Targaryen's razing of King's Landing, Rodgers revealed he was ultimately disappointed by the series finale and its selection of Bran Stark as the new King of Westeros.

"I love the show and it was a great ten years, but no," Rodgers admitted. "You come down to the ending and Tyrion says the person with the best story is Bran? Who, by the way, three episodes ago said he wasn't Bran Stark anymore? No, Jon had a better story, Dany had a better story, Arya had a better story, Sansa had a better story, Tyrion had better story, Bronn lot better story, Jaime had a better story, Cersei probably had a better story."

When pressed for details, Rodgers stated a preference for Daenerys maintaining the Iron Throne and reign over the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.
