'Game of Hyrule' is the 'Zelda'/'Thrones' mashup you hoped for

After wowing us last April with a beautiful CG-animated video that mashed together the Game of Thrones opening credits with The Legend of Zelda, MegaSteakMan returns with the clever six-minute drama "Game of Hyrule."

Combining the worst of Westeros and the best of Hyrule -- or is it the other way around? -- the slickly produced live-action fan film tells a tale of power, corruption, courage and ... death by cucco.

Zelda fans will certainly recognize characters ranging from Link and Saria to Agahnim and Old Man, and chuckle at the sly nods to the game and dialogue like, "Press A if you want me to repeat that." And Game of Thrones fans will be thankful for something to tide them over until Sunday.

Experience the Legend of Zelda as you've never seen it before in this live-action, morally-grey fan-film mashup with Game of Thrones. The Hyrule Kingdom is on the edge of ruin from years of warfare against the Gerudo, but a cruel deal has been set in motion that will change the course of history forever.
