Another member of the Justice League is looking to join Ezra Miller's The Flash

According to The Illuminerdi, Gal Gadot is reportedly in talks to join director Andy Muschietti's superhero film. Details about her appearance are scarce, but it appears that Warner Bros. is looking to bring her in for a small supporting role.

This is not the first time talks of Wonder Woman joining The Flash have surfaced. Back in 2017, when the film was going by the Flashpoint title, reports indicated that Gadot had signed on to appear in The Flash. Up until today, there had been updates on her casting.

Gadot would be the latest DC Extended Universe hero to sign on to the Scarlet Speedster's solo film. After stepping down from the role of Batman following Justice League, Ben Affleck will return as the Dark Knight for a small cameo. Meanwhile, Michael Keaton's Batman from the 1989 film is set to have what Muschietti described as a "substantial" role in the movie.

Ray Fisher, who portrayed Cyborg in Justice League, is in deep negotiations to reprise his role as Victor Stone / Cyborg for a cameo. However, his accusations against Joss Whedon, who took over directorial duties on Justice League following Zack Snyder's departure due to a family tragedy, of "gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable" behavior on the set of the superhero ensemble is no doubt complicating matters.

Fisher is not the only issue The Flash is currently dealing with. After losing three sets of directors and suffering many delays, the film finally settled on a June 3, 2022, premiere. However, the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic forced DC to push the film back to Nov. 4, 2022. Other DC films that were delayed include The Batman starring Robert Pattinson (March 4, 2022), Shazam!: Fury of the Gods (June 2, 2023) and Black Adam, which is now undated. Wonder Woman 1984 is still on track for a Dec. 25, 2020, debut.
