It's a bird! It's a plane! It's.... Wonder Batwoman!

Halloween is that time of year when people can wear colorful costumes, bringing frightening monsters and creatures to life, or even embodying their favorite superheroes. And it's not just fans that can do that, but everyone and anyone -- even the stars of your favorite comic book-based films.

In order to wish her fans and followers a Happy Halloween, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot shared a photo taken by Clay Enos while she was filming Justice League. It's an image of the actress wearing Ben Affleck's Batman cowl, with a caption that pokes fun at the popular "I'm Batman" line.

"Happy Halloween!! Memories from @justiceleague," the picture's caption continues, making it clear that this is not a fabrication or a picture that was taken post-production or for marketing purposes. Plus, with the hashtag "I actually got excited wearing it," Gadot is showing that even a big time star like herself can get excited at the prospect of wearing something as iconic as the Batman costume.

Gadot may not fill out the entirety of the mask, but she's actually pulling it off quite spectacularly, which makes us wonder what the actress could have looked like as the DC Extended Universe's version of Batwoman. If anything, should Warner Bros. recast the role, the actress might even make for a fine replacement!

Currently, the star is busy filming Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman 1984, the highly-anticipated sequel to 2017's Wonder Woman. The film is set to pit Diana Prince against one of her most iconic villains, the Cheetah, who will be played by Kristen Wiig. Originally set for release in November 2019, Wonder Woman 1984 was recently pushed back to a June 2020 release. Like its predecessor, the sequel will therefore see a summer release.

As the release of the Jason Momoa-starring Aquaman approaches this December, there is still no word yet on the fate of a possible Justice League sequel. While writer and director Matt Reeves is hard at work on his solo Batman film, we still don't know if Ben Affleck will star as Bruce Wayne, and a release date for the film has not been confirmed yet.
