Gal Gadot continues to be a Wonder Woman on-screen and off-screen as well, paying a visit to a local children's hospital in Virginia in full-costume.A multitude of photos have emerged online from the staff of the Inova’s Children’s Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia, praising Gadot for an impromptu appearance, meeting and greeting patients as well as staff who were all, well, left in wonder.RELATED: REPORT: Wonder Woman 1984’s Gadot Will Make a Surprise Appearance at SDCCIt's not the first time Gadot's done unscheduled drop-ins like this and it certainly won't be the last given her take on humanitarian endeavors and ambassadorship, which once more make her a perfect fit for the DC Extended Universe's Diana Prince of Themyscira.

Gadot took a break while filming Wonder Woman 1984 to make the visit, as Patty Jenkins' sequel is being filmed in Virginia. It's highly-anticipated, given the record-breaking success of the first film, which eventually saw Gadot get a pay bump and Jenkins move up as the highest paid female director of all time.

Dave Callaham is working on the screenplay alongside Jenkins and Geoff Johns, which brings Chris Pine back as Steve Trevor in a story based on the Cold War in the '80s. Although details are scarce, Kristen Wiig will debut as Barbara Minerva aka Cheetah, with fans hoping Warner Bros. can quickly erase the disappointment of Justice League.

Directed by Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal, Wonder Woman 1984 is slated to hit theaters on Nov. 1, 2019.
