In Marvel Comics Senior Vice President David Gabriel's Gabriel NOW! column on Diamond's retailer website, the SVP detailed a change to Marvel's approach for its popular Premiere Hardcover format for Marvel NOW! The publisher's Premiere Hardcover is typically the first collected version of recently-wrapped story arcs for most of Marvel's catalogue before the trade paperback hits stores.

"Moving into Marvel NOW! we're approaching collected editions in a slightly different fashion than we have been in the past," said Gabriel. "One thing you'll see right off the bat is the limited number of Premiere Hardcovers that will be arriving on store shelves. These Premiere Hardcovers will be reserved for our core titles, with a few exceptions. So you can definitely expect to see 'Iron Man,' 'Thor,''CaptainAmerica,''Avengers,''All New X-Men,''Guardians of the Galaxy,''Nova,''Uncanny X-Men,''Uncanny Avengers,' and'Indestructible Hulk' in the Premiere Hardcover treatment, and then followed by the paperback edition -- 6 to 8 months down the line."

Gabriel stated this would be a change from the 10 to 15 Premiere Hardcovers a month with a trade paperback hitting shelves 3 months later. Other titles in the line will debut only as trade paperbacks. The SVP also debuted a number of new preview pages and covers for Marvel NOW! contained below.
