According to TV Guide, Brian Austin Green has been cast as the DC Comics villain Metallo. He'll appear in the first two episodes of the season.

Variety is reporting that Olivia Munn, host of G4's daily "Attack of the Show" has landed a role in the Robert Downey Jr. vehicle.

Producer Don Murphy told Sci Fi Wire that he's got a script and a director ... now all he needs is a studio's backing. "We're working with a director named John Stevenson," Murphy said. "Don't be confused, though. Even though he directed 'Kung Fu Panda,' the movie's going to be live action. It's going to be a combination CG, puppetry [and] real animals. We have a great script, a great director, and we're trying to figure out who's going to pay for it in this marketplace, but we're looking."

No release date announced.
