ORLANDO, FL -- The accomplished Henry Winkler, best known for his role as "Fonzie" from the hit television series Happy Days, will be appearing in Orlando April 21&22. Winkler will be promoting the newest children"s book in his Hank Zipzer series at FX Lite, a new attraction this year at the Central Florida Fair. FX Lite will be a smaller version of the ever-popular Florida Extravaganza, an 18-year running pop culture convention in January. FX Lite hosts 7 spotlight shows in 11 days, April 19-29. Included are a Festival O" Horror, Sci-Fi and Fantasy Fair, GI Joe / Doll & Bear Show, Sports Memorabilia Show, Rock n" Roll & Record Show, Comic-con, and a Toy & Collectible Show.
Henry Winkler will give an up-close reading from his new children"s book: On April 21st at 10:30am, 35 lucky children will join Winkler on the main stage at the Central Florida Fair for a special reading from his newest addition to the Hank Zipzer series.
Henry Winkler book signing: Winkler will be appearing at the FX Lite attraction on both Saturday April 21st and Sunday April 22nd at the Central Florida Fair. Fans can meet him in person, and get a signed copy of his latest Hank Zipzer book, (due to release May 2nd) for $15.00.
More celebrities will appear at FX Lite: In addition to icon Henry Winkler, FX Lite brings several other stars to the Central Florida Fair, including: Santiago Cabrera, Noah Gray-Cabey and James Kyson Lee from NBC"s new hit series Heroes, Oliver and James Phelps (Harry Potter), Gary Coleman (Different Strokes), Erik Estrada (ChiPs), stars from season one of Stan Lee"s "Who Wants to be a Superhero," and horror stars from Halloween Resurrection and Freddy vs. Jason. The Central Florida Fair has a lot to offer with 100 rides and attractions, dozens of free shows, competitions, demonstrations, food arts, creative arts, horticulture displays, and a livestock complex with hundreds of animals on display.
