DC Comics has revealed an official preview for the first issue of their Future State: Justice League title. The special will focus on the newest version of the iconic superhero team, as well as a story centered on the supernatural heroes of Justice League Dark.
The pages from the Justice League story showcase the new Justice League battling against various threats, including the New God Darkseid. The cosmic despot is shown as being under the control of the intergalactic entity Starro -- an ironic fate, given his own quest to subjugate the universe with the Anti-Life Foundation. In addition, several new villains including a female Despero and an aged Talon from the Court of Owls are shown gathering to plan the League's downfall.
