The Devil has seen screen time in a plethora of movies, tv shows, and even anime. Each iteration shares some qualities with the group as a whole, but each Satan needs their own charm to fit into whatever story they find themselves in.

However, just because a character is the Devil doesn't mean they have to be completely evil. Some of the most iconic devils use humor as a major part of their personalities. A funny devil draws viewers in before they unleash their master plan, and this could make them more dangerous than their less comical counterparts, or at least more entertaining.

10 Seal The Deal With Crowley (Supernatural)

Crowley Supernatural

While the demon Crowley may not have been the Devil in Supernatural he was a denizen of Hell and eventually became the King of Hell. Although Crowley was not Lucifer, he was involved in the re-imprisonment of Lucifer, which allowed him to usurp the throne.

As King of the Crossroads, Crowley was extremely crafty and always came out on top of a deal. However, what set him apart was his quick wit. Crowley constantly antagonized the Winchester brothers with snide comments while working with or against them.

9 Bond With Daddy Satan (Little Demon)

Little Demon

In FX's new animated show Little Demon, Satan has been banished from Hell and needs the help of his daughter, the Antichrist. Satan's daughter, Chrissy, has turned 13 and come into her powers, so Satan tries to get her help while actually bonding.

If listening to Danny DeVito's voice as Satan wasn't enough to get someone to watch Little Demon, then the high jinks of Satan will. Satan must use a vessel to walk the mortal realm, and he has chosen several great options so far in the series, including a nearly behead chicken.

In The Cuphead Show, the Devil runs a carnival as a way to win people's souls, so it is no surprise when it's shown that the Devil has a very showy personality. The Devil loves to sing songs about how great he is and generally put on a show for anyone and everyone.

SNL Satans

Lovitz's Devil was sued in a mock The People's Court and loses due to the plaintiff not understanding what it meant to sell her soul. Ferrell's Devil was atrocious at writing music for a musician who sold his soul. Lucifer as a supernatural detective is humorous on its own, but this devil finds himself in several funny situations. 4 An Unexpected Devil Offers A Treat (Simpsons)

Devil Flanders scaring Homer in The Simpsons

One of the most unexpected versions of the Devil occurred in The Simpsons episode "Treehouse of Horror IV." When Homer realized all the donuts at work had been eaten he said he would sell his soul for a donut and then the Devil appeared in the form of Ned Flanders.

This form of the Devil is hilarious since Flanders is an extremely religious person. Devil Flanders tries to ironically torture Homer by force-feeding Homer thousands of donuts, only for Homer to eat them all. Devil Flanders even uses normal Flanders speech patterns saying things like "scrump-diddily-umptious!"

HIM sitting on a couch in The Powerpuff Girls

HIM is the most powerful enemy the Powerpuff Girls ever faced. HIM is typically seen wearing thigh-high black boots and a red dress with pink tulle to contrast his masculine features, including a curly beard.

While HIM was an imposing villain, he also had a humorous side. One episode saw the Powerpuff Girls rushing to the professor because HIM said he would pay if the girls didn't solve a series of riddles. The girls failed, so the professor had to literally pay HIM for the meal he got from HIM's restaurant.

Beelzebot has several references to pop culture, including owning a gold fiddle, in reference to the Charlie Daniels Band song "The Devil Went Down to Georgia." Satan with Saddam

Despite being the ruler of Hell, in South Park, Satan often finds himself in the small Colorado town. This version of Satan is a large, buff, red humanoid with horns and the legs of a goat. Satan has a compassionate and caring side in South Park despite being the personification of evil.

Satan has some hilarious moments throughout the show, such as his on-and-off relationship with Saddam Hussein in Hell. Another great Satan moment came when he decided to throw the biggest Halloween party ever in the style of a "My Sweet Sixteen" party and came dressed as Britney Spears from the "Baby One More Time" music video.
