Ahead of this year's New York Comic Con, Funko previewed its con-exclusive two-pack bundle for Samurai Jack, the classic Cartoon Network series. The pack includes Jack himself, alongside his archnemesis Aku, the shape-shifting demon.
Jack stands in his signature battle stance, holding his samurai sword and wearing his iconic scowl. Aku stands upright in a human-like pose, with a grimace plastered on his orange and green face. His right hand extends outwards, his fingers curled, while his other hand rests behind his back.
Premiering in 2001, Genndy Tartakovsky's Samurai Jack merged action-adventure, mythology, fantasy and dystopian sci-fi against an animated backdrop. The award-winning series maintains a cult status, which led to a 2017 revival, years after concluding its original run in 2004. It has been the inspiration behind board games and video games, as well as comics.
The NYCC-exclusive Samurai Jack two-pack is an exclusive item for this year's NYCC. It will be available in limited quantities on a first-come, first-serve basis.
