Funko shows its pride with a new collection of rainbow collectibles to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Each Pop! is unique, but they all send the same messages about embracing oneself, supporting one another and realizing there that the LGBTQ+ community is full of compassion.

This new collection features classic characters in pop-culture such as Batman, Spongebob and Hello Kitty, designed with the colors of the rainbow flag. In a press release, Funko explained that these new figures were "a celebration of inclusivity and acceptance."

In addition to the new collectibles, Funko has donated to the It Gets Better Project, an organization that aims to empower and uplift LGBTQ+ youth. "The It Gets Better Project," Funko says in the press release, "inspires people to share their stories and remind the next generation of LGBTQ+ youth that hope is out there, and it will get better."

The It Gets Better Project began in 2010 when Dan Savage and his partner, Terry Miller, uttered those three famous words that would "give rise to a global movement focused on empowerment of LGBTQ+ youth." The project started out as a social media campaign. Its success allowed it to evolve into a multi-media platform that has reached millions of people worldwide.

Funko has a number of other Pops! slated for release this year, including villains from Batman to The Dark Knight, Hello Kitty and friends dressed as heroes from My Hero Academia; and Spongebob and friends as seen in the upcoming Sponge on the Run.
