Funko Is Celebrating 80 Years of Marvel With New X-Men Pops

With this year marking 80 years of Marvel Comics, toy companies such as Hasbro are releasing plenty of special collectibles honoring the publisher's legacy.

Now, popular toy and collectible manufacturer Funko is joining in on the fun, as the company has unveiled a brand new wave of Pop! figures to help celebrate 80 years of the House of Ideas.

The wave includes new figures of four of the five original X-Men, as they initially appeared in the comics. Cyclops, Beast, Angel and Jean Grey/Marvel Girl all sport their iconic blue-and-yellow team suits, and each character is featured in a dynamic pose that brings them to life.

For those wondering why the fifth original X-Men, Bobby Drake/Iceman, isn't featured in this new wave of Pop! figures, it's because it was previously released as a Speciality Store exclusive.

For the time being, it's unclear if these figures will come in a special four-pack, or if they will be available separately. However, more details should be revealed once the new X-Men Pop! figures approach their release date, which Funko promises will be soon.
