Funko launches 'Star Wars' subscription box service

Seven months after launching its Marvel Collector Corps, Funko has announced a similar subscription box service for Star Wars fans.

In partnership with StarWars.com, the toy company will debut Smuggler's Bounty, featuring exclusive Star Wars collectibles, apparel and accessories. The first box, titled Star Wars: The Force Awakens (unsurprisingly enough), will ship in November.

For $25 every other month, a new box containing Star Wars-themed Funko products valued at more than $50 will arrive at your house (or your can purchase the $150 annual "Boss Membership," which includes a year-end mystery reward).

The debut box will include two exclusive Pop! vinyl figures from The Force Awakens, in addition to other surprises. Sign-up for the November box ends on Nov. 12.
