On Wednesday, the popular vinyl toy collectible manufacturing company Funko revealed the latest wave of its famous Pop! figures, this one based on characters from The CW superhero series The Flash. The initial wave from the series, which was released a few years ago, contained Pop! figures of Barry Allen's Flash, Eobard Thawne's Reverse-Flash, and Leonard Snart's Captain Cold. Now, the second wave is widening the scope of the series' speedster family by featuring a new mold of The Flash in a running pose, as well as Wally West's Kid Flash, Cisco Ramone's Vibe and Jay Garrick.RELATED: Flash Poster Shows XS’s Electric New Costume in ActionAfter the announcement was made, it didn't take long for Iris West actor Candice Patton to say, on Twitter, that this new wave was a "Missed opportunity for some kickass female characters on our show." Patton then went on to list most of the recurring female characters from the CW series, like Iris West, Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost, Jesse Quick, Gipsy, Cecile and Nora West-Allen.

However, Funko wasn't yet done with its announcements for the day. After Patton's tweet caused a bit of a stir on the social media network, the toy manufacturing company's Twitter account fast-tracked a reveal that was initially supposed to take place next week: Caitlin Snow's Killer Frost will also be getting a Pop! figure of her own, which will be available next month, at New York Comic Con.

"We were going to surprise you next week," Funko wrote, "but why wait... Killer Frost is our first NYCC exclusive reveal! And don’t worry, she IS a shared exclusive- more details next week!" A "shared exclusive" means that while the Pop! will be available at NYCC, it will also be available in select stores, more likely Target, Hot Topic or GameStop.

Killer Frost is the first female character from The Flash who will be getting the Pop! treatment, and it doesn't appear like Funko will stop with her. In a follow-up tweet, the company wrote: "We hear your demands for more female @CW_TheFlash Pop!s and we WILL pass it on, we promise!"

Nora West-Allen's speedster character XS is bound to become an important part of The Flash in Season 5, which means that she could easily join Flash, Kid Flash and Jay Garrick as the next Pop! figure from the series.
