Funko Pop! is taking fans back to the rockin' '80s with British new wave rock icons Duran Duran. The collection will include a figure for each of the band members, including Simon Le Bon, Roger Taylor, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Andy Taylor.
Although they are not yet available, they are coming very soon. This latest addition to the Funko Pop!'s music collection expands the brand's vast library of legendary musicians. Fans of the music of that decade can also find the members of Def Leppard, Debbie Harry and Iggy Pop available as the figurines. Beyond the 80s, other figures include Pop!Notorious B.I.G to a Pop!Rob Zombie.
Duran Duran may be the latest band to get the Funko treatment, but their legacy stands on it own as well. They are an English new wave band who made a huge impact on American music after first appearing on MTV. The group had 21 singles on the US Billboard Hot 100, and sold over 100 million records worldwide. Duran Duran is loved by fans and critics alike, winning two Grammy Awards, an MTV Video Music Award for a Lifetime Achievement Award and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Funko did not reveal when the band's figures will be available, and they're currently slated as “coming soon.”
