A new Darth Vader collectible is coming to stores near you -- and it's an absolute must have.
Popular toy and collectible manufacturer Funko has become known for its Pop! figures, which cover all manner of movies, television shows, comics and other various fandoms. However, with its latest release, the company is offering something totally new: a Darth Vader Pop! figure that features both light-up and sound features -- the first of its kind.
The new Vader Pop! features the Dark Lord of the Sith with his signature crimson lightsaber in-hand, standing on a new base that looks a lot like the floor of the carbon freezing chamber of Bespin's Cloud City, as seen in The Empire Strikes Back.
Funko has released other Pop! figures with a light-up function, such as an Avengers: Infinity War Iron Man and a Spider-Man: Far From Home Mysterio, but this Darth Vader will be the first that features sound as well.
While the Pop! figure does not have an official release date yet, Funko's blog page assures the it's coming soon.
The next cinematic entry in the Star Wars saga is The Rise of Skywalker. Directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, the film stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Keri Russell, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams and Carrie Fisher, with Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant. The film arrives Dec. 20.
