Collectible maker Funko has released a new Pop! figure in its continued support of breast cancer awareness. The new special edition DC comics-based entry features the Joker clad in a pink tuxedo.Earlier this year, Funko announced a special line-up of its Pop! collectibles to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). The collection includes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn and now the Clown Prince of Crime, each dressed in pink versions of their respective costumes. Pink is the color associated with breast cancer awareness. The Joker release comes just ahead of October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Funko previously donated $25,000 to the BCRF when the initial Pop! line-up was announced in July.RELATED: Funko, DC Support Breast Cancer Research Foundation With Limited Edition Pop!s

The pink Joker Pop! is a New York Comic Con (NYCC) limited edition figure. This year's NYCC is scheduled for Oct. 8-11, with all panels shifted to a virtual program due to the coronavirus pandemic. As such, all convention exclusives will be available for purchase on the NYCC site in October.

Founded by the late Evelyn Lauder in 1993, the BCRF is "the highest-rated breast cancer organization in the United States and the largest private funder of breast cancer research worldwide." Comprised of "in-house leading experts and nearly 275 scientists," the organization describes itself as "committed to bringing an end to cancer by advancing the world's most promising research."
