Assassins can take many shapes and forms, and in the steampunk world of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, the homunculus known as Lust is the best at what she does. Lust can use her good looks and smooth talking to trick anyone into lowering their guard, then skewer them with the Ultimate Spear, her weapon. Lust can rapidly extend her fingers into spears that can punch through or cut through anything, and she can regenerate her flesh with the power of the Philosopher's Stone.
Now the question is: how will Lust fare when she's pitted against the fighters from other series like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure?
10 Can Defeat: Pesci
The assassin known as Pesci wasn't among the strongest Stand users in the Golden Wind story arc, but he was a decent Stand user in his squad all the same. He uses Beach Boy, which is shaped like (and functions like) a fishing rod. Pesci can snare his targets and drag them around, or get his hook in their heart.
That won't get Pesci very far against Lust, though, since a fishing rod will do very little to block the deadly Ultimate Spear. As for Pesci's own powers, a hook to the heart is far from fatal for a homunculus who can regenerate her flesh.
9 Can't Defeat: Secco
Here is another Stand user from the Golden Wind story arc, and this time, a Stand is being used like a suit, rather than a tool. Secco's Stand is Oasis, which he wears on his entire body, and it allows him to swim through earth, rock and concrete like it's water. He can also spit dirt high into the air, have it harden into daggers, then have it rain on the enemy.
Secco can also hear well underground, and Lust will be frustrated as she tries in vain to stab Secco through the earth. But even if she finds him, her Ultimate Spear cannot breach Oasis, since it's not a Stand. Lust must simply quit the battlefield entirely.
8 Can Defeat: Koichi Hirose
Koichi is a member of the Joestar squad along with Okuyasu, and both of them are loyal friends of Josuke's. Koichi is a petite boy who uses an ever-changing Stand called Echoes, which can alter the world around it with written sound effects or create strong gravity fields in a small area.
None of that will take down Lust, though. She doesn't mind a little gravity, and her Ultimate Spear is far too fast and too sharp for Koichi to counteract with some written sound effects. He'll get skewered within seconds.
7 Can't Defeat: DIO
DIO the vampire is the final boss of the Stardust Crusaders story arc, and his Stand is truly incredible. It is The World, and it has melee powers that few other Stands can match. Speed, strength, stamina and agility are all part of The World's game plan as it pummels enemies senseless.
In a duel, The World can block Lust's spears, and then it can freeze time when DIO cries out "The World!" Now Lust is helpless, and DIO can either insert a flesh bud in Lust's forehead, or just tear out her Philosopher's Stone.
6 Can Defeat: Rohan Kishibe
Next up is a Stand user who would rather make art than war, but if he is cornered, he can use his Stand, Heaven's Door, to literally read his enemies like a book. Their skin will turn into book pages, and Rohan can view the contents of that person's soul. Then he can make additions.
That won't work on Lust, though, because she has a Philosopher's Stone and is powered by many human souls at once. Besides, Heaven's Door would be too little, too late to shield Rohan from the deadly piercing power of the Ultimate Spear.
5 Can't Defeat: Bruno Bucciarati
Bruno Bucciarati is a natural leader, and he assembled his own team to take on the mob boss Diavolo and bring peace to Italy's streets. His Stand is called Sticky Fingers, which can deliver melee attacks and create zippers on just about anything.
Sticky Fingers can shield Bruno from harm, and his zipper-portals will allow him to maneuver around Lust and confuse her. Then, he can split Lust's body into pieces with zippers, and regeneration won't help, since those aren't actual injuries being dealt. Bruno can then leave the battlefield, and Lust is in pieces.
4 Can Defeat: Narancia Ghirga
Narancia is an effective ranged fighter, as long as he has sufficient backup. His Stand is Aerosmith, taking the form of a little red airplane that can shoot bullet and drop a single bomb. It can also track people by sensing their breathing, and Narancia can check a radar screen to find his enemies.
Hovever, it takes more than bullets to stop a homunculus, and Lust can survive any battle of attrition against Aerosmith. Worst of all, Aerosmith will have trouble protecting Narancia from the Ultimate Spear, and that poor kid will end up with a few extra holes before long.
3 Can't Defeat: Muhammad Avdol
Muhammad Avdol is a fortune teller from Egypt, and he was one of the first Stand users to ever appear. He wields Magician's Red, a sort of humanoid phoenix that can create vast amounts of powerful flames. Lust isn't happy about this.
In the original anime, Lust died at the hands of Colonel Roy Mustang and his flame alchemy, and if he can destroy Lust with fire, then so can Avdol. What is more, the flames can hide Avdol from Lust's attacks, and Magician's Red can serve as a decent shield to protect its master.
2 Can Defeat: Guido Mista
Like Narancia, Guido Mista is a ranged fighter, but he is a gunslinger who augments his bullets with his Stand, Sex Pistols. His ammo is limited, but unlike Narancia, Mista can guide his bullets all over the battlefield if his multi-body Stand is riding on them.
That's a cool trick, but it's still not enough to stop Lust, who isn't afraid of any bullet. She'll take a few shots, then return fire with her Ultimate Spear. Mista has no defenses to call upon, and he'll go down in just one hit.
1 Can't Defeat: Carne
Despite his oafish appearance, the gangster known as Carne is nearly unstoppable in battle. Why? Because his Stand is activated after his death, a highly unusual trait among Stands. When Carne dies, his Stand, Notorious B.I.G., will manifest and begin attacking.
Notorious B.I.G. can eat anything and keep growing, and it can leap around the battlefield at high speed. Lust has no chance against this thing, because she has no Stand of her own. Even if she did, that still might not be enough.
