For weeks, The Young Bucks have teased the arrival of former WWE tag team champions The Revival on their YouTube show Being the Elite. On the Dynamite following Double or Nothing, the tag team made their debut in AEW.The surprise is that they did not attack The Young Bucks to start their feud. In another surprise, Jim Ross called them FTR and not The Revolt as rumored.RELATED: Mattness Of The Multiverse: AEW Just Resurrected Every Version Of Matt HardyThe show opened with The Young Bucks teaming up with Matt Hardy — an old version of Hardy — and battling Joey Janela and Private Party. The match had some twists and turns that included The Butcher and The Blade attacking The Young Bucks during the match. It ended with Marq Quen appearing to injure his knee in the match. In a sign of sportsmanship, Hardy helped Isiah Kassidy walk Quen to the back. However, that opened the door for The Butcher and The Blade to come in and attack The Young Bucks and start to beat them down. That's when the cameras flipped to the side of Daily's Place, and a truck pulled up. It was FTR, who got out and headed to the ring. Things looked dire for The Young Bucks. The newly named Cash Wheeler (Dash Wilder) and Dax Harwood (Scott Dawson) came into the ring. The Butcher and The Blade stepped aside so FTR could finally make fans' dreams come true, but it didn't happen.

Instead, FTR turned and attacked The Butcher and The Blade. They tossed the bad guys and then turned to face off with The Young Bucks again. The two tag teams just stared at each other before The Young Bucks saved FTR from an attacking Butcher and Blade, and then the two stood face to face again. FTR turned and left the ring, so the fight will have to come another day.

The Young Bucks and FTR have been feuding online for years. When The Bucks were in Ring of Honor and New Japan, The Revival was paying attention. The Revival had the tag line in NXT of "No Flips, Just Fists," which was a knock on The Young Bucks style of wrestling. The Bucks then responded by helping give FTR their name. However, instead of "Fear The Revolt," which is what it stands for now, it was a little more profane.

Now, after a few years of sparring online, FTR and The Young Bucks are together for the first time. Expect the two teams to battle in the near future, if not at Fyter Fest, then later at All Out.
