Frozen 2 will send Elsa of Arendelle on a heroic journey with her sister Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven. The film's synopsis suggests she will learn the source of her magical powers, even as that answer poses a grave danger to her kingdom.

According to the official film synopsis,

Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In Frozen, Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In Frozen 2, she must hope they are enough.

The synopsis arrives just a day before the film's first full trailer drops. Disney also unveiled a new teaser poster, which finds the two sisters standing strong in the middle of a misty forest.

Even in light of this synopsis, the movie's story is being kept tightly under wraps. It is rumored that Elsa and Anna will venture out of Arendelle to find their parents, who were initially believed to be dead in the first film. Hopefully, tomorrow's trailer will offer some additional details.

Arriving Nov. 22, Disney's Frozen 2 reunites directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and producer Peter Del Vecho with voice actors Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad. Returning musical talents include Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
