When queen Elsa and princess Anna of Arendelle return to the big screen, they will leave the comforts of their kingdom behind for a darker, more daring adventure.

Ahead of the sequel's first full trailer, Disney has released a new teaser poster for the highly anticipated Frozen 2, which features the two sisters standing strong in the middle of a misty forest. The snowy mountains of Arendelle are gone, replaced by eerie, thin trees and fallen leaves.

This poster echoes the mystery that came with Frozen 2's teaser trailer; it was light on story details, but brought forth plenty of intriguing promise. With Elsa trying to use her powers to try and escape from an island and the Sven, Kristoff, Elsa, Anna and Olaf quintet venturing further than ever before, the teaser teased a bigger adventure than the first film.

The movie's story is being kept tightly under wraps, but its rumored that Elsa and Anna will venture out of Arendelle to find their parents, who were initially believed to be dead in the first film. The next trailer, scheduled to debut June 11, should offer more insight, and possibly even a major revelation or two.
