John Noble will reteam with co-creators Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci on Sleepy Hollow, the supernatural mystery series that premiered Monday on Fox t0 10.1 million viewers.

The actor, who played Walter Bishop on the cult drama, will have a recurring guest role as Henry Parrish, a reclusive man with supernatural powers that could potentially help Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison).

In a modern-day retelling of Washington Irving’s classic story, Ichabod Crane is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and that he is humanity’s last hope.

Sleepy Hollow airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
