The beloved comedy series Friends is turning 25 years old in September, and now fans will have the chance to see Monica, Joey, Chandler, Ross, Phoebe and Rachel on the big screen for the first time ever.

Fathom Events is bringing 12 fan-favorite Friends episodes, which have been remastered in 4K, to cinemas across the United States to celebrate the anniversary. The event -- titled "Friends 25th: The One With The Anniversary" -- will be held over three days on Sept. 23, Sept. 28 and Oct. 2, with four episodes shown each night. Moreover, each screening will also include exclusive interviews and other bonus content.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Friends, a TV show that continues to impact culture and attract new fans from across generations,” said Fathom Events CEO Ray Nutt. “Fans will have the opportunity to come together and look back on some of the most hilarious and emotional scenes from the acclaimed comedy — this time in theaters.”

Warner Bros. Television's Friends premiered September 2, 1994. The sitcom became a critically acclaimed favorite and ran for ten seasons, concluding its run in 2004. Over 1000 movie theaters across the country are expected to take part in the "Friends 25th: The One With The Anniversary" event. A complete list of locations will be made available when ticket sales go live on Aug. 16.
