When Will notices how his girlfriend fights a guy who hits on her at the bowling alley, he feels like less of a man.
Will seeks out the karate instruction from Morita's character, Mr. Yoshi. While Will waits for Yoshi to arrive, he assumes a crane position, like Daniel LaRusso in the Karate Kid films. Ironically, Will Smith's son, Jaden, would star in The Karate Kid in 2010 with Jackie Chan.

Queen Latifah is a jack of all trades with her prosperous music and acting career. Queen Latifah appears on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air twice during the first and second seasons. However, she plays two separate roles.
Queen Latifah makes her initial appearance in the episode "Working It Out" as Marissa Redman, a snooty and overbearing actress. She appears for the second time in the episode "She Ain't Heavy" as Will's blind date, Dee Dee Williams. While Will is initially turned off due to her size, the pair eventually make up at the dance.

Naomi Campbell began her modeling career at the young age of 15 and quickly rose to stardom in the fashion industry. Campbell frequently feuds with fellow supermodel Tyra Banks. Other than filling the pages of magazines, Campbell makes a guest appearance on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
