20th Century Fox released its first full trailer for Free Guy at Comic Con Experience in São Paulo, Brazil.

The trailer, which was later put up by the studio on YouTube, opens with a joke about the various live-action Disney remakes of AladdinBeauty and the Beast and The Lion King before showing the general chaos of Free City and the life of Guy (Ryan Reynolds). Guy questions whether there's more to the world in the clip and eventually fights back against a set of robbers.

Free Guy stars Reynolds as a bank teller named Guy who discovers he is actually a character in an open world video game called Free City. The movie features a variety of video game references and includes appearances from Sean "Jacksepticeye" McLoughlin, Tyler "Ninja" Blevins and more.

A promo video for Free Guy was released in November. In the video, Reynolds and Taika Waititi, who plays the owner of the company producing the game from which Guy originates, talk about their eagerness to work together for the first time, despite having actually partnered for 2011's much-maligned Green Lantern movie.

Directed by Shawn Levy, Free Guy stars Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi. It is scheduled to be released July 3, 2020.
