A sneak peek at the upcoming Free Guy features an enormously built Ryan Reynolds playing an improved version of his own milquetoast bank teller character, Guy.

Alternating between clips from the movie and a mock interview with Reynolds' gargantuan "Dude" character, a.k.a. "Catchphrase," the teaser presents an absurdist look at film production from the musclebound star's point of view. The video comes just days before the film's release in theaters, an event that has been rescheduled three times since its initial date in June 2020.

"2021 has been a real growth year for me - mentally, emotionally and hormonally," reads the description of the video, which appears on Reynolds' own YouTube channel. Purporting to show the hulking actor's daily routine as he seeks to maintain his oversized physique, the trailer candidly reveals what steps he takes to stay fit. Dude discloses, "I start every day with a protein bomb made exclusively of human muscle. It's completely organic and illegal."

The upcoming sci-fi action-comedy takes place in Free City, an open world video game in which Reynolds' Guy gains self-awareness and actualizes himself into the role of the story's hero.

Starring Ryan Reynolds and Jodie Cormer, Free Guy will only be available in theaters on Aug. 13.
