Diamond Comic Distributors announced its plans for Free Comic Book Day 2021.

The event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, foregoing the traditional May date in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2020 edition of FCBD underwent several major changes due to the pandemic. After being seemingly canceled, it was redubbed Free Comic Book May before finally transitioning into a summer-long event.
