Free Comic Book Day 2019 Titles Include The Avengers, Stranger Things & More

The list of comics being released as part of the Free Comic Book Day 2019 Gold Sponsor lineup has been made public.

The annual event will see select titles from 12 of the biggest comic publishers in North America being released for free on the first Saturday next May at participating comic stores. The publishers taking part in the release are DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, IDW Publishing, Image Comics, Archie Comics, BOOM! Studios, TOKYOPOP, Valiant Entertainment, Vault Comics, Titan Comics and VIZ Media.

The titles range from superhero stories to adaptations of characters and series from other media. While most publishers have confirmed what titles will be released as a part of the event, DC Comics notably has refrained from revealing what the FCBD Gold Standard title next year will be. Thirty-nine additional titles will be announced as the 2019 Silver Sponsor line-up on Dec. 20. The full list of comics being released for FCBD will be revealed Dec. 28.
