Universal Pictures and Blumhouse recently dropped an extended trailer for its upcoming horror-comedy Freaky, which finds a serial killer played by Vince Vaughn swapping bodies with a high school student (Kathryn Newton).

The longer teaser is appropriately titled "Slaughterhouse" and opens with 17-year-old Millie Kessler explaining that her "life was pretty normal, until the night she switched bodies with a serial killer" known as The Butcher. In true Freaky Friday fashion, Vaughn and Newton's characters swap bodies thanks to The Butcher's ancient dagger -- and Millie has just 24 hours to get her body back before the switch becomes permanent and she's trapped as the maniac forever.

Other scenes show Millie-as-The Butcher trying to stay under the radar while looking like a psychopath who’s the target of a city-wide manhunt and also working to convince her friends that she is the teenager they know and trust. Meanwhile, The Butcher-as-Millie is seen looking suspiciously at a knife, hunting down members of the football team with a variety of weapons and teasingly telling one jock in the midst of the homecoming festivities, "I can't wait to kill you."

Directed by Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day), the film stars Vince Vaughn, Kathryn Newton, Celeste O'Connor, Misha Oshervich, Uriah Shelton, Alan Ruck, Katie Finneran and Dana Drori. Freaky hits theaters on Friday, Nov. 13, and will begin streaming Dec. 4 on most digital platforms.
